    To get an Elvie breast pump through insurance, the first thing to do is contact your insurance provider to find out the details of your policy. They should be able to tell you what you’re entitled to and talk you through the process. You can also visit the website of one of our DME partners for more information.

  • When should I order my breast pump?

    Some moms will order a pump a few weeks before their due date to allow enough time for processing and shipment of the pump. While the process of ordering a breast pump shouldn’t take too long, it might vary depending on the provider, the retailer and the chosen pump. So it’s best to order a pump as soon as you know you want one.

  • Which breast pumps are covered?

    Breast pump coverage depends on your insurer and specific policy. We partner with many medical suppliers that might work with your insurer to provide a free or low-cost breast pump. Elvie Stride and Elvie Pump may be fully covered, or covered in-part, by your insurance provider, so check with your provider to see what you’re entitled to.

  • Does insurance cover breast pump replacement parts?

    Under the Affordable Care Act, many new moms are eligible for a breast pump, supplies and any spare parts needed. The actual coverage is down to your specific plan, so it’s important to ask what’s covered when you first speak to your insurer. Find out if replacement and spare parts are covered, to give you peace of mind later down the line.

  • How much are Elvie breast pumps with insurance?

    The cost of an Elvie breast pump may be covered completely by your insurance provider, however some insurance plans may only cover part of the cost and you may have to pay something towards your pump.
